I never thought it would happen, but here it is. nme.com reports Led Zeppelin will reunite for a single two-our show at the O2 Arena in London on November 26th. Along with Pete Townshend, Foreigner, Paolo Nutini and Bill Wyman and the Rhythm Kings, who are acting as backing group as well as a featured act.

The Zeppelin reunion will feature original members Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones, with Jason Bonham filling in on drums, in place of his father, the late great John Bonham. This show will be the band’s first gig together in 19 years.

It’s all for a very worthy cause, as the show is a fundraiser for the Ahmet Ertegun Education Fund, which was created in honor of Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun, who died last year. Ertegun signed Zeppelin to the label, along with alot of other famous acts that found a home at Atlantic Records. He was a major muse for alot of bands, as he nurtured their growth and development along with his rockin’ record label.

For ticket information go to Ahmettribute.com, but hurry because registration ends Sept. 17th. The band also plans to release another best of complilation called Mothership on November 12th.
