Norah Jones  is still number one (5 weeks in a row) on Billboard’s European Top 100 Album chart.  It’s a great album; mellow, melodic and nice to relax to.  It’s easy to see why she’s so popular.  Plus she’s got a great band. 

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame annual induction ceremony is coming up on March 12,  at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York City.

R.E.M.
The Ronettes
Patti Smith
Van Halen

I still think the Dave Clark Five should have been included here.  They’re rock and roll history, right up there with the Beatles.  So much more so than Grandmaster Flash.  But R.E.M. is well deserved.  I always liked them, especially with their original drummer Bill Berry.  And of course, Van Halen belongs in this elite group, but what tomfoolery can we expect when these super egos collide?  Eddie’s checked into rehab, the tour’s on hold and Dave’s mouthing off again.  Wait and see.  This should air on the Fox Network instead of VH1!
